In December 2004 M&S joined the Linear family of brands: AirVac, ChannelPlus,
Linear Security, Linear Access, and OpenHouse. For over 50 years M&S Systems has been an industry leader in the manufacture and design of built-in,
electronic home amenities including Audio Distribution Systems, Music Communication Systems, Speaker Systems and Central Vacuum Systems. M&S Systems received
the 2004 Electronic House Product of the Year award for the XDM4600KIT and the dmc1. Both products were featured in the September issue of Electronic House
Magazine and were recognized at the 2004 CEDIA Expo.
The XDM4600KIT: Xtreme Digital Music System, offers Xtreme elegance and Xtreme functionality designed to fit in a standard 2-gang box. The XDM4600 Kit
is an expandable integrated 4-zone digital audio distribution system offering 6-music sources as well as communication functions throughout the home with
60 watts of power per zone.
The dmc1 is a whole house communication system capable of delivering quality sound - voice or music - to anywhere in the home. The dmc1 was engineered with
both the homeowner and installer in mind, by simplifying installation and improving performance. The dmc1 has an upgrade path to make it a stereo distributed
audio system supporting up to 30 pairs of speakers in the home. All this in a 30 percent smaller package than our previous model! With the success of the
dmc1, Linear is excited to announce the dmc3-4 retrofit systems, designed to replace many existing 3&4 wire intercom systems from M&S and NuTone. The
dmc3-4 retrofit uses the existing wiring and, in most cases, fits into existing wall cutouts with no drywall repair required. The dmc3-4 also offers an
optional 6-disc CD changer, a new stylish look, and easy installation.
The AirVac Central Vacuum brand now has eight new completely redesigned vacuum power units. The four new AirVac Red series
bagless central vacuum power units replace the existing Red Series central vacuums and offer a five-year warranty. The four new
AirVac Platinum Series disposable bag central vacuum power units replace
the existing Gold Series central vacuums and offer a ten-year warranty.
M&S and AirVac are part of the Linear Home Technologies Brands which help make one of the broadest product offerings in the home technologies market. Linear
Electronic Sales currently features six Linear Home Technologies brands with nearly 1,000 electronic products available.
